Following closed court proceedings the NPA says, pending further investigation, the latest suspects to be arrested for the Soshanguve child killing also cannot be linked to the crime yet.
Four people have thus far been arrested for the murder of the five-year-old boy, who was shot while his father was being hijacked outside their home in Soshanguve.
Last month, popular DJ and musician Peter Mashata was shot and killed in the township after returning from a booking. Just over a week ago, five-year-old Ditebogo Phalane was gunned down at his home during a hijacking incident.
