1000 people are born every day in africa with sickle cell. I have sickle cell disease. Up to 90 of us died before the age of five. Our government do little to help us. And im advocating to those in power to change that. Even in our own communities, people with sickle cell are often treated like an outcast because of misconception and stigma surrounding the disease.
