In an update Wednesday from Advocates to End Domestic Violence, the organization behind the community s annual summer culinary favorite Taste of Downtown Carson City, the event won t take place on July 18 as volunteers had hoped. However, organizers are working on plans to find a way to make the event happen this year.
It’s time for the Nevada Day Weekend celebration! This year the celebration starts with a party on Friday, Oct. 27 with FREE live entertainment in downtown Carson City across from the Carson Nugget. Hours for the event are from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will support local charities like Advocates to End Domestic Violence and F.I.S.H.
