Every high school graduation is special. But the cheers seem a little louder, the hugs a little tighter for the 2024 graduates of Red Canyon High School. The county’s alternative high school held its graduation.
Each year, Vail Valley Foundation’s YouthPower365 Valley Scholars helps local high school seniors get a step closer to their dreams. On Wednesday, May 15, YouthPower365 awarded 47 Eagle County students with over $680,000 in scholarships.
Another day another job fair! Almost every industry is hiring right now and that includes West Michigan s largest school district.
The new school year will be back in session before you know it and Grand Rapids Public Schools is in need of not only teachers but several other staff members such as custodians, secretaries, principals, technicians, social workers, coaches, psychologist, cooks, and security officers just to name a few. So what better way to fill all these open positions? With a job fair, obviously.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. â President Joe Biden made good on his promise to sign a number of executive orders during his first day in office. After being inaugurated Wednesday morning, he sat in the Oval Office next to a stack of blue folders and one by one signed them. A few of them made an immediate impact on the Latino community.
