A Franklin County grand jury voted not to indict eight Columbus Division of Police officers in the shooting death of a man following an armed robbery and pursuit.
The second of two men charged in a July crime spree that ended in a shootout with police on Interstate 70 pleaded guilty in federal court Wednesday to his role in the incident.
Faisal M. Darod, 23, of Columbus pleaded guilty to nine counts in a federal indictment, including assisting with the robbery of a Fifth Third Bank in Hilliard with a firearm on July 6.
