SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir reported 122 fresh covid-19 cases while there was no death due to the virus during the last 24 hours, officials said on Wednesday. They said that 52 cases were reported from Jammu division and 70 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 480442.
Asserting that there was no need for increasing the testing, senior official from the civic health department pointed out that cases had drastically dropped.
In the last 24-hours, active infections have crossed the 37,000 mark with 5,676 new covid-19 cases reported across the country. According to the health ministry data, 21 people died with the fatality rate at 1.19 per cent. , Health News, Times Now
