deputies that may have been involved from other law enforcement agencies, that s what this lawsuit is speaking to but the third lane of administrative accountability is really important as well the administrative accountability is the internal accountably addressing the situation. we saw some of that administrative accountability with seven other officers that weren t charged that were fired. we saw the city council in pretext wall stops impose legislation and call for an investigation into the use of force policies and to de-escalation policies so all of that is going on, all at the same time, while the civil lawsuit is pending and presumably, until in the la you can use the findings from the other two lanes of accountability to is so strong, because we see the video, because we know and see what s happening, ben crump and the family is moving forward they also are looking into federal charges as well. that s an ancillary fourth lane of accountability that is floating around. i know t
it is so graphic i feel bad sharing with other journalists. they couldn t even probably show it in the hearing. when they compare it to smoking cigarettes, it s not even close. i m talking about mutilation and lacerations that go from the hip to their ankles, okay? i m talking about horrific self-harm. and when these parents are saying that some of their children have been driven to suicide that is real. i believe them. and i think we need to believe parents at this point, who have experienced the absolute darkness that s being promoted on especially instagram. and we need to start to call he is the head of this. it s not just mark zuckerberg at this point. he needs to take accountably for what is happening on the platform. the accountability is the key word. let s hope congress continues
never be a resolution to the syrian crisis. as he was describing there, this is now a full fledged proxy war with so many sides being involved. i know you ve spent a lot of time there oak in syria when you heard the defense warning the regime from doing that, how does that play out among the ground and the ap situation on the other side? are those empty rooms that come out of washington? they have been empty words for years since the infamous red line comments. i was in a town in the province shortly after a chemical attack there and it meant nothing. the attack meant nothing. there were no consequence, there were no accountably, so the syrians that i know say it doesn t matter what s said, what matters is what s done on the ground. so that s what syrians are concerned about. so when we look at trying to
