this week three states passed new anti-abortion bills adding to the growing list of laws that seek to restrict a person s access to abortion dare. on thursday florida governor ron desantis put his signature on a bill that bans most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. kentucky passed a similar law. and in oklahoma, it will soon be a felony to perform an abortion punishable by up to 10 years in jail and fines up to $100,000, the governor said, quote, we want oklahoma to be the most pro-life state in the country. we want to outlaw abortion in the state of oklahoma. this law is, in part, in surge to the texans who travel to oklahoma after the six-week ban went into effect last september. none of the laws make exception for pregnancies that resulted
