Russia confirmed its continued support for Libyaâs unity, territorial integrity and sovereignty
MOSCOW, January 28. /TASS/. Russian Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov and Foreign Minister of the eastern-based Libyan government Abdul Hadi Al-Hweij have discussed ways to facilitate intra-Libyan dialogue, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday. The parties focused on current developments in Libya and beyond, as well as on the need to effectively facilitate a sustainable intra-Libyan dialogue involving all of the country’s influential political forces for the sake of implementing the decisions made at the Berlin international conference and the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2510, the statement reads.
