A huge explosion and fire that injured 9 persons was reported Sunday near an arms factory that manufactures some of Iran’s drones in Isfahan, Central Iran.
However, Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency reported that fire incident relates to a private sector’s factory producing incendiary materials. The reason for the explosion at the Sepahan Nargostar chemical industry is under investigation while nine injured people have been transferred to hospital, spokesman Abbas Abedi of the province s medical emergency centre was quoted as saying by the Mehr state news agency.

TEHRAN, May 23 (Xinhua) At least nine people were injured in an explosion that took place in Iran s central Isfahan province on Sunday, semi-official Mehr news agency reported.
The incident took place in Shahinshahr at Nargostar Sepahan Chemical Industries early morning on Sunday, Abbas Abedi, spokesman for the Isfahan Emergency Center, was quoted as saying.
Ambulances of the Red Crescent Society have been dispatched to the area, he said, adding that the injured have been sent to a nearby hospital.
Investigation is underway into the cause of the incident, he added. Enditem

DUBAI (Reuters) - An explosion and ensuing fire injured at least nine people in a chemical and fireworks factory in Iran’s central province of Isfahan early on Sunday, Iranian state media reported.
