review board report to upgrade security for personnel at high-threat posts. has this been done? not according to the facts i ve heard. so, in fact, the department has yet to comply with benghazi arb recommendation 11, correct? we believe benghazi arb 11 intended for there to be marine security guards at all high threat posts. so i want to hear you say yes, that is correct. thank you very much. i ve got 24 22 seconds left. i did want to touch a little bit on the local guard force. real quick, mr. linick, if i can just get to the findings with you. a, b, regional security officers took it upon themselves to vary the vetting and approval process and failed to ensure that the security contractors provided all the required documents. that s correct? that s correct. so, did any of the security companies that had contracts fully perform all vetting required in their contracts? no. we looked at 87 personnel files and none of them none of the security contracto
parents, saying that they could get kids in. we brought that back down so the numbers are now below what they were two years ago. overall, the border is less porous than it s been any time since the 1970s. and we make huge investments down there. we can still do more, but the truth is, were working that part of it real hard. and then there s the issue that i did deal with in executive actions, although not for everybody, and that is the 11 million people who are here undocumented but the vast majority who are law-abiding. and the one principle i guess, if, in fact, we can still get a comprehensive deal going forward, even if it s somewhat piecemeal, is i am not going to preside over a system in which we know these folks are in the kitchens of most restaurants in the country, are cleaning up most of the hotels that all of you stay in, that are doing the landscaping in most neighborhoods where you live, whose kids are going to school with our kids, and we tolerate it because it

other ways includes markets. other ways includes everything we do in society. there are ways to pursue what we re after. obviously our political system well, maybe not it s not obvious but our political system would work better if more people participated. i think they want fewer people to vote, which is nuts. and shouldn t be what they want. that s not to say that if everybody wotevothed we would know what if everybody voted we would know what everybody wants. it is a way of answering some very important questions about what our government should look like. i think more people should be involved in offering those answers. people in public life should want that, should want more people to be involved and more people to be voting and that should be everybody s goal this democracy. i would just add so that. it s partly why it s critical why some of the market based ideas are critical for people being able to express their differences. if you have no voter turnout in one p
and yet those are being invaded. and it does appear that the administration is not committed to doing those things that are necessary to cause ukraine to be able to at least defend itself. we were slow on intelligence. we are providing blankets. we are providing mre s. but we re not providing some of the defensive lethal support that is necessary. secretary kerry: well, we are providing senator corker: let me just finish. secretary kerry we re providing : counterbatteries and other things that are defensive. i understand the debate. senator corker: i just want to say where it takes on iran is, there is a strong sense of a lack of commitment. of a not willing to hold the line. so i hope that we as a committee are going to be able to move forward on legislation that allows us to see that, to cause you to force to cause us to force a process where you will submit what it is you are doing with iran. i know you have been working on it very heavily. i know you must be proud of
