9月13日，北京银保监局批复显示，核准严九担任中意财产保险有限公司(以下简称“中意财险”)董事长的任职资格。这也意味着，中意财险成立十五年来，迎来第三任董事长。资料显示，中意财险于2007年4月经批准成立，由中外股东合资组建。中方股东为中国石油集团资本有限责任公司，持股为51%；外方股东为意大利忠利保险有限公司，持股为49%。目前，中意财险注册资本金为13亿元。
