Hanover to host drug take-back event

The Hanover Board of Health and the Hanover Police Department, in cooperation with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, has coordinated a nationwide one-day event to take back unwanted medications from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 24 at the Hanover Council on Aging, 665 Center St.
The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
