A statewide amber alert followed for months for the Davenport girl in March, fishermen found her body in a pond in Dewitt, about 20 miles north of Davenport. Five weeks later, Henry Dinkins was charged with her murder. He is her half brothers father and also a registered sex offender. New court documents unsealed. Just last week s show, authorities found an axe and cleaning supplies in dinkins trunk after Toral went missing. He is set to stand trial on February 14 over 100 miles away here in des Moines. Members of the community have done their very best to honor brie Asia Tarell over the last year and as Casey CS, kayla James tells us it s not something they plan on giving up ....

Des Moines Register Search warrants released this week offer more information about what allegedly happened July 9, 2020 the night Breasia Terrell went missing in Davenport. Terrell s disappearance sparked a nine-month search that ended when the 10-year-old s body was found March 22 by fishermen near DeWitt. About six weeks later Henry Dinkins, the man Terrell was staying with when she disappeared, was charged with her death. Criminal complaints filed at that time said that in the early hours of July 10 Dinkins, a 48-year-old convicted sex offender, kidnapped Terrell and shot her to death. He s charged with first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping, each of which carries mandatory sentences of life in prison. ....
