PCA 2021: Rocky Patel Premium Cigars A couple of days ago I saw someone who works at Rocky Patel. He apologized for not responding to my emails about what new products the company was planning for the trade show. His explanation: one of our products is going to cause so much controversy we needed to have all of the ducks in a row. While many booths look and feel a lot different, one of the notable exceptions is the Rocky Patel Premium Cigars, Inc. booth. The tried and tested combination of a grid of display cases surrounded by lots of seating areas is back. It’s the same basic concept I’ve seen from Rocky Patel at every single PCA Convention & Trade Show I’ve been to, and I think it remains the most efficient booth for medium and large companies, both in money and time. ....

Put simply, StillWell Star is “the world’s first luxury pipe tobacco cigar”, a hybrid creation blending traditional cigar tobacco leaves and pipe tobaccos. The aforementioned pipe tobaccos were blended by Jeremy Reeves, head blender of the famed pipe tobacco maker Cornell & Diehl, who is himself is a cigar smoker. Each of the four cigars in the line are the same size and use the same wrapper and binder, but the filler blends of each incorporate very different combinations of pipe tobaccos, making each a unique experience. Interestingly, while Cornell & Diehl is the supplier of the pipe tobacco for the StillWell Star line, the company is not receiving any additional royalties from the sale of the cigars. ....

While blend details and price points are unknown, Saka is predicting that this “will be the most controversial cigar released in 2021.” Saka didn’t elaborate about why the cigar would earn that status, but he did say the “blend makes you feel very relaxed (and) content.” ....
