Sedona Red Rock News Roadwork has begun on Shelby Drive, which is expected to last until the fall. The project consists of installing new storm drain, sewer main and water main along Shelby Drive from Sunset Drive to just south of Stanley Steamer Drive. Additional work includes the installation of new asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, a shared-use path on the north side of Shelby Drive and the reconstruction of driveway entrances along the project corridor. Somewhere around 20 years ago, I went to a company get-together in Estes Park, Colorado. Yes, The Shining. We actually stayed in the hotel and had various meetings and activities there. We also had some free time. I have to say that I feel like I m more of a rock guy than a radio guy, so when the after-hours chatter turned to radio things, I got a little bored.
