SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. The Sun Prairie Area School District is requiring masks inside school facilities for all students and adults starting Monday.
The district made the announcement in a letter sent to families Wednesday night. The mandate will be in effect for all adults and students grades 4K-12 while inside school district facilities, at indoor district activities and district-sponsored transportation. Masks will not be required outside.
SPASD Superintendent Brad Saron said the change is in line with recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Wisconsin Department of Health Services and Public Health Madison and Dane County.
