Visit Maldives has launched a new campaign, under the heading ‘I’m Vaccinated’.
The project aims to share a positive message regarding the vaccination of staff working in the tourism sector, as well as promote the initiatives undertaken to ensure the Maldives remains one of the safest destinations for travellers.
The goal of this campaign is to ensure the Maldives is the first fully vaccinated tourism sector in the world.
Along with the unique geographical formation of the islands which offer natural physical distancing, as well as the stringent health and safety measures in place, a fully vaccinated tourism sector will be an added advantage in encouraging tourists to visit the destination. ....

Maldives unveils logo for Golden Jubilee Year of Tourism

The Ministry of Tourism has unveiled the logo to be used to celebrate and promote the country’s Golden Jubilee Year of Tourism 2022.
The event to launch the logo was held virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, where the Chairman of Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), Mohamed Umar Manik unveiled the logo on Wednesday. Manik played a pivotal role in introducing tourism in the nation.
Speaking during the virtual event, Manik revealed that it has been 50 years since zealous travelers have been visiting the Maldives which has been drawing in visitors with its picturesque beauty. He noted that the country’s beauty still remains the same as ever before. ....
