Polymer PTC products meet protection requirements for higher current Bourns has announced the expansion of its line of Multifuse high-temperature rated surface mount PPTC resettable fuse products. The new Bourns Multifuse MF-FSHT model family is created to deliver effective overcurrent protection in applications with higher ambient operating temperatures while also lowering the risk of generating nuisance tripping at elevated temperatures between 85C and 125C. These abilities are especially valuable in applications that regularly encounter elevated ambient temperatures, including, but not limited to industrial equipment, outdoor security systems and computing/storage devices.
