St. Augustine, Florida–based home furnishings manufacturer Brown Jordan Inc. has named Bernie Guerin as its new chief financial officer. Guerin comes to the role with more than 30 years of business finance experience, most recently having served as COO and CFO at environmental services and waste management provider Clean Earth Inc. At Brown Jordan, he will oversee the company’s financial strategies and manage its outdoor living and contract furnishings divisions. ....
Chick-fil-A Could Be Coming To The Southtowns By 2022 It s been a few years since Chick-fil-A first opened a Western New York location in Cheektowaga on Walden Ave. The second location was also in Cheektowaga, at Transit and Losson. Now, it appears the first southtowns Chick-fil-A will be on the way,. According to WIVB, Chick-fil-A submitted a sketch plan to the Hamburg Town Board on Wednesday evening for a drive-thru location at 3464 McKinley Parkway in Hamburg. The site was formerly a Toys R Us and now a Raymour & Flanigan. The next step is to introduce a site plan. The hope is to be approved in time to open by the fall of 2022. This would be the first Chick-fil-A in the southtown region of Western New York. ....
Chick-fil-A restaurant proposed in DeWitt; would be 3rd location in Onondaga County Updated Feb 03, 2021; Facebook Share It would be the third location for the popular fast-food restaurant in Onondaga County. The Chick-fil-A would be at the corner of Erie Boulevard East and Bridge Street, on the site of the former Uncle Sam’s nightclub, which also was the Country Club and Oliver’s at different times. The building was demolished in 2017. The proposal still has to be approved by the town of DeWitt. Developer Grazi Zazzara bought the building in 2008, and had indicated he wanted to develop the site for retail or a restaurant. ....

(File photo) A proposal to convert the former Toys R Us building on Route 58 into a Lidl supermarket received unanimous administrative approval from the Riverhead Town Planning Board last Thursday. Lidl, a German discount grocery chain, purchased 27 Best Market stores earlier last year, including 24 on Long Island. Riverhead Best Market, which totals 15,000 square feet, is located diagonally across the street from the 35,167-square-foot Toys R Us building, which had originally been proposed for a Raymour & Flanigan furniture store before those plans fell through. The space has been vacant since Toys R Us closed in 2018, shortly after the entire chain went bankrupt. ....
