May 25, 2021 Authorities in Ross County are reporting a deadly shooting from early Tuesday morning. According to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to Witter Drive at around 5:30 a.m. in regard to a shooting. At the scene, deputies found an unidentified black male laying in the driveway. The victim was taken by squad to Adena Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased. An investigation is underway and the body of the deceased in now in the care of the Ross County Coroner’s Office for identification and autopsy. No other details into the case have been made available at this time. ....

UNION TOWNSHIP - A man was killed after a shooting on Witter Drive early Tuesday morning, At approximately 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, the Ross County Sheriff s Office was dispatched to a shooting on Witter Drive, according to a news release from the sheriff s office. Deputies arrived and found an unidentified male lying in the driveway. The victim was transported by squad to Adena Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Investigators from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office have started an investigation into the shooting.
