A Thomasville man was arrested after police say he abused a woman with disabilities. On Wednesday, Raymond Mayo, 57, was acting as the woman s caretaker when he reportedly assaulted her, causing physical injuries, according to an arrest warrant. Mayo was arrested following the incident and charged with felony abusing disabled/elder with injury. He wasn t given a bond due to the domestic nature of the charge, according to arrest records.
