May 6, 2021 I love this story! The elephants used to perform for the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus. The herd are retiring just south of the Florida-Georgia line in Yulee at the White Oak Conservation Center. The dozen newly arrived elephants will have 135 acres to roam on the 17,000-acre refuge that also provides habitat for other rare species. Eventually, the elephant preserve will span 2,500 acres. This story makes me so happy. I m so so happy these elephants get to now live a beautiful life, they deserve it! ....

A 14-year-old student in Florida says she was recently singled out by a teacher, who remarked that her outfit was too revealing and that she was letting them hang out for the whole world to see, according to a report Tuesday. Eighth-grader Alice Wagner told WJXT-TV that the unidentified teacher made the remark about her body as she was leaving a classroom at Yulee Middle School, about 25 miles north of downtown Jacksonville.
