According to Syracuse Police, it happened just after 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of West Fayette and West streets. Police said a car was speeding down West Fayette and hit several vehicles stopped at a red light. Multiple people were taken to the hospital and a 49-year-old man died from his injuries.
