Boise Centre in Downtown Boise has been given an accreditation for facility preparedness. The GBAC STAR Accreditation Program is based on facility performance and designed to “help facilities establish a comprehensive system of cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention for their staff and their building,” the website says. Leaders at Boise Centre hope this accreditation will draw businesses to Boise. “The GBAC STAR Accreditation will help Boise Centre’s efforts to attract future conventions and visitors that generate local economic benefit,” Communications Manager Mary Michael Rodgers said. As part of the accreditation, Boise Centre had to go through a training process which teaches protocols, disinfection techniques, and cleaning best practices. ....
