Pat James hit the milestone on Tuesday at Middletown Grange near Witney. It was all go from the moment she woke up, with cards and presents to open and a party organised in her honour. Staff sang happy birthday as home manager Claire Gascoigne gave Ms James an individual candled cake to make a wish. Staff at the home say they love Ms James’s stories and fun and her Irish sense of humour comes through whenever it can, making staff giggle on a regular basis. Ms James originates from Roscommon County in Ireland. Her birthday wish to see some of her family was even granted with visits throughout the morning from members of her close family in the home s garden visitor pod.
