As part of its effort to continue to improve mobility in Malta, Malta Public Transport has embarked on a study to assess travel patterns in Malta in order to be able to provide tangible solutions that can make public transport more attractive and encourage more people to use it.
Malta Public Transport is inviting the general public to participate in an online survey that will gather information about travel patterns in Malta, along with other sources such as traffic counts.
“We are constantly looking to improve the public transport service to cater for the changing needs of customers and this survey will help us understand current travel requirements,” explained Diane Oswald, Head of Communications at Malta Public Transport, “This exercise is part of a wider study that will enable us to delve into the next phase in the transformation of urban transport in Malta. Drop Everything and Read for a Good Cause
 
The luxury and joy of dropping everything to read is coming to a primary school near you as the Malta Trust Foundation and the National Literacy Agency today launch this year’s edition of the National Readathon.
The fourth edition of the Readathon which has a dual role to foster the love of reading in children, while helping their classmates with different abilities is being given a fresh impetus after the COVID-19 pandemic closed schools and disrupted last year’s efforts to collect funds.
 
 
Organised with the support of the Malta Public Transport, the Malta Trust Foundation’s E3 project has to date raised more than €250,000 and helped 120 children who are non-verbal and on the autism spectrum. ....
