Putnam County court records The following individuals were indicted by the Putnam County Grand Jury on Thursday. Steven K. Sheeks, 64, 1035 Heritage Trail, Ottawa; intimidation of a witness in a criminal case and aggravated possession of drugs. According to court records, Sheeks is accused of knowingly making threats of physical violence against a female on Jan. 28, if she was to be a witness in a criminal case against him while on a phone call at the Putnam County Jail. The charge is a felony of the third degree. The second charge stated that on June 16, 2020, Sheeks did knowingly possess a trace amount of methamphetamine while in Putnam County. ....
