TREK Announces 2021 Date for 24th Annual Event in Owensboro
One of my absolute favorite events of the year is coming back this summer.  Last year, COVID-19 turned the annual TREK for the St. Joseph Peace Mission for Children into a virtual event.  While the virtual TREK was a rousing social media success, it actually delayed exciting plans to move the event to downtown Owensboro, after being held from Calhoun to West Louisville for 22 consecutive years.
Leading up to 2020, the TREK unveiled an exciting new route for the run, bike, walk event.

The new route is a little shy of the usual half-marathon distance that used to run from Calhoun, the length of Hwy 815, then to Hwy 56 into West Louisville.  Trek XXIV will cover 11.77 miles and will start and finish at the St. Joseph Peace Mission (1328 West 3rd Street) in downtown Owensboro. ....
