DOMESTIC abuse survivors can access “safe spaces” TSB branches in Wrexham and Flint. The spaces will be in nearly 300 TSB branches where survivors will receive specialist support, the bank has announced. The Wrexham branch is on the corner of Hill Street and Priory Street while the Flint branch is located on Trelawny Square. TSB said the initiative will enable more people to find help on their local high street, particularly as lockdown restrictions ease across the UK. The scheme has been rolled out following three pilots in TSB’s Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire branches over the past six months. Domestic abuse prevention charity Hestia partnered with the bank and local police forces to roll out the scheme. ....

Daniel Littlechild, 54, was left unable to work after a shoulder injury – hiring a stand-in who bodged the job. Someone he met at his local pub suggested he help them shift drugs. He initially turned them down but a few weeks later took them up on their offer. When police raided his Corsham home on November 7, 2019, he had thousands of pounds-worth of cocaine, 2.6kg of cannabis and more than £7,500 in a safe beneath the stairs. ....
