The Whole of Nation approach to ending the armed conflicts being pursued by the National Task Force to End the Local Communist Armed Conflicts (NTF-ELCAC) is anchored on good governance and would entail direct people’s participation. 
Given limited resources of the government, the NTF-ELCAC has focused on eight hundred (800) barangays liberated from the influence and clutches of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) to prove that the communist armed conflict can be ended through good governance.     ....

PH to resume deployment of household workers to UAE March 31 | Philippine Canadian Inquirer

MANILA – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Tuesday announced that the deployment of household service workers (HSWs) to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will resume at the end of the month.
In a press statement, Labor Undersecretary Claro Arellano, head of the Philippine delegation, said the sending of Filipino workers to the Arab country will resume on March 31 which was agreed upon during a two-day Joint Committee Meeting in Manila from Monday to Tuesday.
Arellano said the measure will now be covered by a Unified Employment Contract (UEC) that provides stringent measures to protect Filipino HSWs pursuant to the directives of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. ....
