A NEW pre-school, set to cost around £140,000, ‘landed’ at a primary school in Brent Knoll last Friday (December 4). The classroom - a modular unit which travelled from Hull - came in two halves and was lifted into place at Brent Knoll Primary School. The building should be complete by December 18, allowing the staff members time to furnish the school before January 5 - when it will officially open. Hayley Richens, who already looks after the reception class, will be running the pre-school, alongside three new members of staff. Chris Burman, headteacher at Brent Knoll Primary School, said he was looking forward to the opening.
