Montreat 8, CVCC 7 (eight innings) For the second-straight day, the Red Hawks battled in extra innings, but came up short this time in a one-run loss to the Cavaliers. Third baseman Alleigh Himes led Catawba Valley offensively, going 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run, double, two RBI and three runs scored.
