A 64-YEAR-OLD has broken the record for the number of kettlebell swings completed in a month. Jack Gilchrist undertook the 10,000 kettlebell swings in a month in last year November, but he enjoyed it so much he decided to keep going. The challenge has never seen anyone do as many swings as Mr Gilchrist has done, which is currently at 76,950 with a goal of reaching 100,000 by June. He averages around 450 swings a day but excludes other kettlebell exercises he does as part of his hour-long workouts. He said: When I finished after the month, I just thought I could do it for longer. ....

The Toronto-based sales agent is also boarding the project as executive producers. “BLIX” follows the former head of the U.N. Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission, who was sent to Iraq in 2003 to determine whether U.S. suspicions that the country was manufacturing weapons of mass destruction were founded. Though the final report found no evidence of an Iraqi weapons program under Saddam Hussein, the U.S. and a coalition of allies nevertheless decided to invade the country. ....
