Geneva: India on Monday called on the United Nations Human Rights Council to hold Pakistan accountable for its state-sponsored and supported grave violation of human rights of its people, saying the UN body must pay urgent attention to Islamabad’s deplorable human rights records.
In a right to reply during the 46th session of the Human Rights Council, New Delhi said that it is high time that the failed state of Pakistan stops preaching and focuses on its responsibility towards the millions suffering in Pakistan. ....

India said that Pakistan must stop preaching and focus on its responsibility towards the millions suffering in the country.

GENEVA: India said on Monday that it is high-time that Pakistan, a failed state , is held accountable for its state-sponsored terrorism and urged the UN Human Rights Council to pay urgent attention to its deplorable human rights records and discriminatory treatment of its ethnic and religious minorities.
Using its Right of Reply under the Agenda Item 4 at the 46th Session of the Human Rights Council in response to a statement by Pakistan s representative, India also said that Pakistan must stop preaching and focus on its responsibility towards the millions suffering in the country. ....

Pak misleading OIC on J&K: India at UN

India today said the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) was misled by Pakistan during its submissions at the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Exercising its right of reply to the statements made by Pakistan and the OIC, Indian diplomat Pawankumar Badhe rejected the reference to the UT of J&K in the OIC statement. The 57-member organisation, he said, had no locus standi to comment on matters related to J&K, which was an integral and inalienable part of India.
Move Regrettable
It’s regrettable that the 57-member Organisation of Islamic Countries continues to allow itself to be exploited by Pakistan to indulge in anti-India propaganda. Envoy at UNHRC ....

Pension to Designated Terrorists Terrorists: India on Tuesday exposed Pakistan for hosting the largest number of terrorists proscribed by the United Nations and providing them pensions out of State funds.
