In December 2020, the Broad Top Health & Wellness or the Broad Top Area Medical Center hired a chief operating officer (COO) who was new but also familiar with the operations of the nearly 50-year old medical facility.
While she started her new duties as Medical Center COO in December, Shelly Rivello had worked at the Medical Center before as a licensed clinical social worker. This was a period when the medical center was the recipient of several grants and could offer services that Rivello could offer.
As a licensed clinical social worker, Rivello worked in the behavioral health field. In her new role as COO, Rivello said she has had the opportunity to meet people and to learn how to serve the Broad Top community. ....
