The passenger services on the Aqua Line that connects Noida and Greater Noida were suspended on May 1 as the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic ravaged the region.
The resumption of services was announced on Monday, the day Gautam Buddh Nagar district, adjoining Delhi, in western Uttar Pradesh also eased COVID-19 curbs amid a dip in new cases of coronavirus.

The average run time of the Aqua Line from Sector 51 Metro Station in Noida to Depot Station in Greater Noida and vice versa is 45 minutes 43 seconds (one way) Noida metro fast trains to skip 10 stations during peak hours to reduce travel time. Details inside 
New Delhi: In order to reduce the travel time of Aqua Line commuters, Noida Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (NMRC) recently decided to introduce “Fast Trains”. These Fast Trains will skip the stations having low ridership during peak hours. NMRC has implemented this from this month. From 8 February, commuters of the Noida-Greater Noida Metro can opt for these Fast Trains .
