Sullivan's Travels: Happy anniversary, Sassamon Trace

Sullivan s Travels: Happy anniversary, Sassamon Trace
Wicked Local
I recently came across a Facebook post from the town of Natick regarding Sassamon Trace golf course off Route 27, and was nearly taken aback when I saw the date it opened – 2001.
Has it been 20 years already?
This piece of Dowse Orchards, combined with a piece of the old Natick landfill (OK, OK – dump), has become a really nice 9-hole course enjoyed by hundreds of golfers over the years. In addition to leagues, the course is home to the Natick High and Dover-Sherborn High golf teams.

Sullivan's Travels: Relay for Life scheduled for May 15

Sullivan s Travels: Relay for Life scheduled for May 15
One day, we will gather in groups and laugh and cry and be together.
One day…
Well, how about May 15?
That’s when the Relay for Life of Natick, Framingham, Sherborn, Ashland and Holliston will (hopefully) convene at Natick High’s Memorial Field.
Last year’s physical Relay was canceled because of the pandemic; most of the fundraising went virtual.
Should the Relay proceed as planned, there will be a day of games, activities and fun, all to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
This will be the first Relay without organizer Edna Glass, who passed last fall. In her honor, one of the teams has been named “The Unbeatable Edna Glass Team.” ....
