NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM Heads of the EAEU members states, namely Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia have appointed Ruslan Beketayev the new Minister of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Kazinform reports.

MOSCOW, 5 February (BelTA) – The heads of government of the Eurasian Economic Union member states discussed ten issues at the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting held in Almaty, Kazakhstan on 5 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
“In particular, the participants of the meeting discussed ways to streamline the application of special protective, anti-dumping and countervailing measures in the Eurasian Economic Union,” the press service informed. “The EEC delivered a report on the mechanism of applying retaliatory measures on the customs territory of the union. The premiers also considered a ban on the export of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal from Kazakhstan and Belarus to other members of the union,” the press service added. ....
