Animation film & mobile game bring Gen Z into protecting ozone layer
Nairobi, 22 January 2021 – ‘Reset Earth’ is an innovative educational platform for adolescents about the fundamental role of the ozone layer in protecting the planet. The platform launches on World Education Day (January 24th) with an original animation film that explores options for collective positive action. The film’s plot continues in a challenging mobile game for Android and IOS (February 10th). The platform is initiated by United Nations Ozone Secretariat to sustain the protection of the ozone layer through the sensitization and engagement of Gen Z.

Andritz: International technology Group Andritz has received an order from thyssenkrupp rothe erde (Xuzhou) Ring Mill Co., Ltd., to supply eight chamber forging furnaces for their plant in Xuzhou, China. Start-up is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022. The scope of supply includes engineering, manufacturing, electrical equipment and automation software, as well as erection work and start-up. The equipment supplied by Andritz features advanced technology, including low NOx burners that will minimize emissions and fuel consumption. The new production line is a major investment project by thyssenkrupp rothe erde in China and the third furnace order that they have awarded to Andritz.
