A shopping complex at Nallakunta in Hyderabad is closed on Friday in a preventive, self-declared lockdown to counter the pandemic.
 
The Telangana cabinet has decided to impose lockdown in the State from 10 am on Wednesday for ten days.
Restrictions
Passenger vehicles shall be regulated on State borders. However, movement of commodities shall be permitted without restrictions.
All public transport services, including TSRTC buses, SETWIN, Hyderabad Metro, taxis, auto rickshaws, will be permitted from 6.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. only. Movement of healthcare workers and passengers for accessing emergency medical services shall be permitted.
Operation of all inter-State bus and transport services, including those by private operators, shall stand suspended. ....

COVID-19: Odisha govt asks civic bodies to feed stray animals during lockdown

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India], May 8 (ANI): The Odisha Government has asked Civic bodies to make necessary provisions for providing food to the stray animals in urban and semi urban areas of the state during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Thousands of stray animals in the state will have a hard time finding food leading to starvation and other consequential issues amid the lockdown in the state from May 5 to May 19. Therefore, the Housing and Urban Development Department has directed all Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in the state to make necessary provision of food for the stray animals.
The ULBs are advised to meet the expenditures out of the funds available with them from various sources including own source revenue or subject to recoupment from the special relief commissioner (SRC) or chief minister s relief fund (CMRF) sources, read a letter issued by Department Secretary Mathi Vathanan to Municip ....

Karnataka government on Friday announced a complete lockdown starting May 10.
Currently, a Janata Curfew has been put in place in the state until May 9.
The decision of lockdown was announced by Chief Minister
BS Yeddiyurappa. He stated that the Janata curfew has not been effective in the state and hence, he is compelled to implement tougher measures to curb the spread of the virus in Karnataka.
The lockdown will come into effect from May 10, 6 am and will continue till May 24, 6 am.
