Each family will receive a $1,000 check and will be distributed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the MAC Parent Resource Center located at 29344 SW 158th Court #274 in Homestead, Florida. “We were blessed to receive a large anonymous donation of funds to provide cash assistance to farmworker families on the East Coast of the United States,” said John E. Menditto, President of the Board of The Foundation for Farmworkers. “Our donor asked us to get the funds into the hands of farmworker families as quickly as possible and the Mexican American Council was uniquely positioned to do that.” ....
