NAF EL CENTRO â Donât call it an air show. Thatâs one of the rules governing a poster contest NAFEC has announced in conjunction with its inaugural Festival of Flight, scheduled for Saturday. The festival is a retooling of the traditional air show staged by the air facility in years past. âAs part of our rebranding from an airshow platform to a more community-centric festival, we want to include our Imperial Valley friends to contribute their creativity to the event,â said Kristopher Haugh, public affairs director, NAF El Centro. The contest actually will involve designing a poster for next yearâs event. The theme for the 2022 Festival of Flight is, âNAF El Centro Celebration of Seventy-Five Years of Aviation Excellence.â ....

According to media outlets that cover fake outrage and potato-related matters, including The New York Times, toymaker Hasbro initially announced in February it was dropping âMr.â from the brand name, making the Potato Head characters more gender neutral. âHasbro is making sure all feel welcome in the Potato Head world by officially dropping the Mr. from the Mr. Potato Head brand name and logo to promote gender equality and inclusion,â the company said in a statement. ....
