Parents of pupils at De La Salle Academy in Croxteth are shocked and angered at news that the school has been threatened with closure.
Staff at the school were informed on Friday that the academy chain that runs it had been served a termination warning notice by the Regional Schools Commissioner.
That followed two poor Ofsted reports, the latest of which warned that pupils had been “failed for far too long” by “exceptionally poor results”. ....
