Each year 1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental illness. For the media and advertising industry, this stat is much higher – Taking a quote from the Mentally Healthy survey ‘Despite this improvement, only 23% said mental health was a high priority in their workplace, and a tiny 6% felt their company is highly effective in addressing the mental health of its staff.’ Many people are not knowledgeable or confident to offer assistance.
