Gwen Stefani had mixed emotions marking the 25th anniversary of No Doubt album Tragic Kingdom last year, because the songs still leave her feeling a little heartbroken.
The singer detailed her split from her bandmate Tony Kanal on the project, and even though they have both long moved on, celebrating its release milestone didn t feel quite right for Stefani.
The whole purpose for the Tragic Kingdom is the breakup, the heartbreak. There s a lot of feelings, she shared on U.S. late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Even in that record, when you say the words tragic kingdom, my heart still kind of is broken. Cause those songs were about a really sad time for me, she explained. ....

The album is currently tied with Michael Jackson s 1987 album Bad for the title and is on track to tie with Prince s Purple Rain on the chart next week. The album is also currently #1 on the Top Rap Albums chart and sits at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Demi Lovato has claimed she was sexually assaulted by her drug dealer on the night of her near-fatal overdose.
The 28-year-old singer was rushed to hospital in July 2018 when she almost died following a drug overdose that caused her to suffer three strokes, a heart attack, and organ failure.
Demi opens up about her ordeal and her journey back to health in her upcoming YouTube Originals documentary series, Dancing with the Devil – which premiered at the SXSW Online festival on Tuesday – and alleges the man who supplied her with heroin on the night of her overdose also sexually abused her. ....

Jesy Nelson signs solo deal with global management firm YMU

Jesy Nelson has signed a solo deal with global management firm YMU.
The 29-year-old singer announced in December she was leaving Little Mix because of the impact being in the band was having on her mental health, and it has now been confirmed she’s set to launch a solo career under YMU, whose clients already include Take That, Steve Aoki, Ant and Dec, and Fearne Cotton.
In a statement, Jesy said: “I am so excited to join YMU and can t wait to start my next chapter.”
Whilst Mary Bekhait, group CEO of YMU, added: “Jesy has enjoyed incredible success as a recording artist and performer and is well placed to further her remarkable career.
