MARYLAND- This week the Democratic Central Committees of Maryland’s First Congressional District sent a letter to the Maryland Democratic Congressional delegation in hopes of doing what they said is protecting the integrity of democracy.
“We felt like something needed to be said and it couldn’t be said with just one or two central committees it had to be said by the district as a whole,” Patrick Firth, Chair of Talbot County Democratic Central Committee, said.
Committees I spoke with said after the January 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol building various leaders of the Republican Party, who many political observers feel instigated the recent siege, should be held accountable, like former President Donald Trump and Congressman Dr. Andy Harris. ....
