Pittsburgh, PA A resident of Hermitage, PA, has been sentenced in federal court to 18 months of incarceration followed by 18 months of supervised release on his conviction of tax evasion, Acting United States Attorney Stephen R. Kaufman announced today. The Court also imposed a fine of $10,000.00 and ordered restitution to the IRS in the amount of $510,235.08.

According to information presented to the court, for the calendar years 2016, 2017 and 2018, Golub intentionally failed to report in excess of $3.5 million in gross receipts from his business, Penn Ohio Roofing and Siding. Instead of depositing all of his business receipts into his business operating accounts, he attempted to conceal receipts by spreading them among nine different bank accounts, including personal accounts and accounts in the names of children.
