COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State rising senior Vanja Bukilic, a native of Belgrade, Serbia, has been selected as of 16 players who will compete with the Serbian National Team as it competes in the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Tournament in Italy as preparation for the Olympic Games next month in Tokyo.
“This is such an exciting opportunity for Vanja after a great junior campaign,” said Ohio State head coach Jen Flynn Oldenburg. “To play with some of the best athletes from her country as well as against some of the best players in the world will provide invaluable experience at such a high level. To hear and see the excitement in Vanja’s voice on our FaceTime call is something I’ll never forget. Our entire team will be cheering her on from the US!”
COLUMBUS, Ohio – With the No. 9 overall seed, the Ohio State women’s volleyball team is set to face No. 25 Missouri in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday at 12 p.m. ET in the CHI Health Center. The match is slated to air on ESPN3.
