Swab service at the Suva Civic Centre drive-through began at 10am today and will end at 4pm.
An advisory by the Fijian Government says the service will continue thereafter on weekdays, Monday – Friday from 10am to 4pm.
Suva residents are reminded to practice COVID-19 safe measures when using the Suva Civic Centre drive-through.
“Wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose and cough or sneeze into your elbow.”
If are experiencing any of the following COVID-19 symptoms: cough, runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, fatigue/extreme tiredness, headache, aches and pains, sore throat, fever, diarrhea, red eyes (conjunctivitis), loss of taste or smell, a rash on the skin, please visit the Suva Civic Centre drive-through swab service or visit a screening clinic nearest you. ....

Permanent Secretary for Health Dr James Fong confirms another COVID-19 swabbing drive-through site at the Suva Civic Centre
The Ministry of Health has set up another COVID-19 swabbing drive-through site at the Suva Civic Centre.
Permanent Secretary for Health Doctor James Fong confirms that the drive-through in Suva is now in operation after the one set up at Vunimono High School in Nausori.
Doctor Fong had earlier said that they will continue to look at options to set up swabbing drive-through sites in other areas after assessing the safety guidelines. ....
